  1. Steelz,

thanks for the report. I was one of the other boats out there that night, I think we were the last two boats out there. I have a flybridge named "Got A Way" . We had similar luck, three hits with one hook up we got right to the back of the boat and then lost. Apx 20lb king, dark. We had our best luck in 100fow also spin dr w/ fly. Mt Dew color. We were fishing apx 45 down on the riggers. Had a nice scum line at about that depth. Hope to get out some more this year. What channel do you monitor if any, will share any info with you if I have any luck.

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

we fished out of oswego from apx 12 until 5pm. Only had 1 fish. we were running 2 flasher / flies off the riggers, 2 coppers off boards and 2 dipseys all with spoons. Went to change rigger flasher out and realized we had a laker on over 100 FOW 85 down. Of course the fishing was super hot the weeks before i got my boat in but i heard fishing was tough for many not just us this past weekend. Hope to try and get out a couple times after work this week and will report if i have any better luck. We did mark a fair amount of fish in the 90-115 range on the bottom (lakers) but we were looking for silvers. Im sure it didnt help the batteries in my fishhawk were low and we couldnt get down speed or temp. Hopefully well have better luck next time. Open to any suggestions to make our next trip more successful. Thanks, Mark

Got out on the lake today ready to fish and my recently new TR1 gold autopilot wouldnt steer. Everything turned on and the throtle actuator was working just wasnt getting any steering at all. Contacted Garmin and there sending me a new pump as they think thats the problem. Wasnt sure if this happened to any one else? If so please let me know how you fixed it. Thanks, Mark

  6. I have an extra subtroll 900 i would like to sell. Recently installed a Tr1 Gold autopilot in my boat and the sub troll interferes with autopilot so had to get a new fishawk. I would sell the unit for $250. Includes new coated cable, probe, gauge and downrigger antenna. Live in Fulton, NY fish out of Oswego, NY. Shipping not included. email me at mp@tmitires or call 315 559-3451. Thanks Mark

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

got out for a few hours and actually moved some rods this trip. Nothing big but better then nothing. We were fishing 2 riggers, 2 braid dipeys and a shoot cooper. Our fish all came in the 180-220 range with riggers @ 95 down taking two hits on a white SD w/ a glow/black fly. The other two hits came on our dipsey out 200 on 2 setting pulling a glow white mag spoon. Sorry no pictures, fish were small (1 apx 4lbs and laker apx 8). Temp was apx 53ish at the ball down 95ft. Cant wait for the kings, i have yet to put a fish over 20lbs on the boat this year (had a couple nice ones on but broke off). Have to work all next week and weekend so im sure thats when fishing will get good. Cant wait until next time.
