  1. Ok Guys here is your answer on Flea Flicker... I just stopped at the cortland outlet store in Cortland. The owner there said that it is by no means discontinued or going to be. He said the factory is just having a hard time keeping up with demand and that they have a shortage of the resin they make it out of right now.

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

    ====================

    Took the boat out for the maiden voayage of the year and we were met with some pretty rough water off the start but by 5pm it had switched direction and laid down to nothing. It was a great first trip of the year as everything in the boat and all the gear functioned without a flaw. The fishing was fast and furious, as soon as we had the rods out we were doubled up with some average size footballs. Our third fish was the big fish of the day at around 10lbs. After that it was a constant bite for the rest of the trip with the highligt being a set of triples withing 5 minutes of each other. I would say the size of the browns is down a little so far this year but I was glad to see the numbers out there again. The water color was a strange pea green from the launch all the way to selkirk with some sand color close to shore, but it didn't seem to matter as the fish were everywhere. Great to be back on the water!

    Well here is my first shot at a report on LOU. My brothers and I set out in search of kings for a few days on the big pond. We were pleasantly greeted by good weather and lots of fish. We left from my dock on Sandy Pond at 6am thursday friday and Saturday headed out to 125 FOW and immediately started marking alot of bait and some nice arcs. I droped down a spread of 3 riggers and 2 dipseys 1 wire 1 power pro. The hot ticket was obvious immediately that it was green on green as we had double majors before I had all the riggers down. The first fish to the net was a 29 lb monster that would be our biggest fish of the three days. Thursday we were 5 for 9 Friday 6 for 6 and Saturday 8 for 9 with 13 of our 19 landed fish being adult kings, the rest being immature kings. Surprisingly we didn't catch any other species than kings. They seemed to want it slow with a down speed of 1.8. It was a great couple of days also getting my little brother his first king!! here are a few pics Enjoy!
