Definitely bring him along. I was in a similar situation and we alway brought our griff especially on the youth hunts. Half the experience/memories and fun with my kids was and still is talking about how good or “not so so good” the dog was. Enjoy your time with the both of them!

Launched at Wilson 6/4. 18ft Lund. Not a problem if you have someone in your boat that can drive it over to the floating dock. As said above, seemed to take forever to get outside the no wake zone.

I know the wind has probably changed things but for what it's worth, west of Wilson was good for us Sunday evening. 90-150Fow. SDs and flys. 200-220 divers. 60-80 riggers. 6 kings and a steelhead

Thanks. The biggest hit on the port side rigger and within 30 secs had managed to go under then back over both starboard divers. Pretty much a circus but we were fortunate to get everything sorted.

Went 6/8 on kings. 200-300FOW. Best were 220, 240 divers with spin doctors and mirage flys. Biggest came from 100 rigger in 300fow. 24 lbs. fatty. Green dot spin my. the boys had a blast. All were released but 2.

Got out before the lake kicked up. 5 walleye. 6-9lbs. 2 lakers. 2-2.5mph. 70-90FOW. 110 dipsey's. 4 and 6 color lead core. lakers on the riggers. two boys 8 and 10 had a blast.
