I caught alot of Brown Trout on the Lake recently, average 2-3 ft length, 8-14 lbs. When I got home, I was reading the New York State Fish and Game book and noticed there is a consumption advisory for these fish due to PCB's, Mirex and Dioxin. The reccomendation is DO NOT EAT.
Since I have seen some posts here about recipes for these fish, I am wondering if anyone has ate them before and had any ill effects. I have about 70-80 lbs opf Fillets and am really wondering if I should consume these fish or give them to my "friends".
