  1. Bowhunter of 20+ years and have always used the bottle. If I can smell it the deer can also. I have heard the smell may quickly disperse but that window it don't your in the stand. Seems like a small step to take to help put the odds a little closer in your favor. Deer know what smells are natural to the woods and which ones are not. Of course my buddy lets it hit the ground and he gets his fair share of deer with the bow as well ...

  2. Just before I'm about to get down to business with this nice opening day trophy this guy comes walking right in. He was at 20 yards before I spooked him off. Can't say I've ever had that happen deer hunting before. attachment=19267:ImageUploadedByLake Ontario United1416440096.744577.jpg]

    Took advantage of the flat lake Friday let the wife get some driving experience and the boys some big fish experience. Nothing better than the joy on a kids face when they reel in one of those big boys.

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

    ====================

    After getting blown off Lake O this evening by a stiff west wind and waves a bit to big for our 19'er we decided to swap out the riggers for our light tackle and hit the upper Niagara River for smallies. My son Aiden was able to pull in this 17" beauty for his first bass. He made for a tasty late night snack thanks to his big brothers cooking! Has me thinking about how fortunate we are in this area of the county to have such a great abundance of different waters and fishing to enjoy. Surely makes for some great memories.
