  1. I have berts trac system on my starcraft 186 i run them on both sides of a 36" track I use 12 lb balls and i run them at less than 90 degrees to the boat and over top of the bolts that hold the trac for extra support seems to work better. If I push the downriggers right to the back of the track it pulls more. Ive added a pic to show better.

    Hope this helps

    ==================

    I first found my new love for trolling when I went on a few charters out of the Port Hope harbour. I've helped a few buddies set up and fish the big water for the past couple years and now i've taken the plunge. I traded in the 16 ft princecraft for the Superfisherman and im diving in head first. I been waiting on my boat anxiously for about a month now. They keep sayin "anyday now"!

    Looking forward to a good year fishing and keeping in touch with the great people of Lake Ontario United. This is a great website with more help then I ever thought anyone would admit to... Keep up the good work looking forward to seein more!

  3. I've just purchased a starcraft superfisherman 186 it comes with the quick attach rails which i would like to use for my rod holders and rigger. The problem is i want to use some equipment that doesnt come with the quick attach components is there somewhere to buy them or am i making my own?

    I like the scotty's Orca rod holders and the cannon magnum 5s riggers any input would be great... boat should be in shortly and I cant wait!
