  1. A few smallies was usually a average day for us when fishing the st. Lawrence around Alex bay area. Also we would troll during the day for walleye 25-40 feet depths deep diver reef runners usually land a couple keepers maybe a pike\ Muskie will hit. Jigging bucktails at night on shoals is good for a eye or two or a sheephead. Haha good luck purple is a good color choice

  2. Your cylinders get used to what ever oil you are running in them it is not the best thing to switch from synthetic to non synthetic or vise versa. Certain additives in the different oils do not mix well. Best to find out exactly what previous owner was running.

  3. Launched from bear creek around 6:30am trolled west hooked up in about 12 feet. Kept going west hooked up again around same depth same size fish few pounds. Turned around in front of the power plant headed east and hooked up with a fatty once we passed bear creek. Did a few more passes back and forth to power plant no more hits... so kept going east and got 2 more with a lot of dead time in between got back to launch at 2:15pm

  4. The canal is loaded with bass we usually launch from wide waters park. Troll the shoreline parallel with Route 31 casting plastic worms at docks all the way to port gibson spinner baits work good to when the weeds arnt to thick.

  5. we launched at hughes marina this morning around 5:15 went east and started in 130FOW worked 150-190 for a while and got a 18lb king around 6:45. turned west after we hit sodus and a few hours later while checking the lines a little 1 pounder was on our biggest fly set up wasnt even strong enough to release off the downrigger. sorry to hear about the stinky skunk. not sure how the weather is going to be tomorrow might be able to get out again.
