im seriously sorry for how much of a cluster mess this derby has been. it should go smooth from here cant wait to see the boxes at weigh in!!! hope all enjoy it i had to get another box style event going and i realized how difficult it can be to run one of these now. thank you all for your support. any idea of how many people are entering? would really love to have enough chicken cooked up at weigh in to support all the hungry fisherman!

we will run the derby this saturday its official! we will be changing it to 100% pay out. thanks for sticking behind me guys.

im actually thinking about just doing this tourney at a later date do to a low number of entrants because of lack of early communication

Participation waiver:
- As participants in the Prisebox challange on 6/29/13 we assume complete responsibility
for any injuries to ourselves or our property which may occure during the event-We understand that weather can play a huge role in safety on the fingerlakes and we will venture
at our own risk, we will not hold anyone from the Prisebox responsible for this and we release
them from any and all liability associated with our actions.-We have read and understand the New York state fishing regulation and have all proper lisences
required to fish this event and will abide by the regulations.- We have read all the tournament rules and understand how the prize system works and how the box
style weigh in works.-We understand all NYS boating laws and our boat is equiped with the necessary PFDs and safety equipment.
-We understand that any and all the judges decissions are FINAL!
-It is also understood that any team caught cheating will be disqualified.

-Weigh-in at 7:00 sharp at The Prisebox bbq on route 14 between Montour-Falls and Watkins glen
-$50 a boat must be pre-registered by June 28th at the Prisebox
-Heaviest 5 fish box not including more than 1 rainbow or over 3 lake trout(to be fair to fisherman on any of the lakes)
-Fishing may take place on Seneca, Cayuga or Keuka Lakes!
-80% pay back pays back 1st-3rd place
-Additional $10 a boat lunker fee if interested
-Must be present to win!-Payout will be in cash at weigh in!
-make all checks payable to Judd Parrott
-Please return this form with payment inclosed to 353 Parrott road, Cayuta NY 14824!

hope it wasnt an arrow with a lumanock on it my pockey hurts just thinkin about that

we tried running one but it sets the hooks to close together you just cant keep them untangled. if you put mostly blanks on and ran only one spoon with a hook they might work better they do have good action though

didnt leak a bit once the sticks were in and paying the gas money for the 2 hour drive there we werent going home empty handed and it paid off!

buddy of mine got a new 16' boat and it needed a test run so rather than take it to the finger lakes like everyone told us to do we were rebels and decided to take it to lake o
we launched for hughes marine at 4am and come to find out the boat was leaking, we pulled it out to find it was missing some screws in the rear. we plugged the holes with sticks and were off! ran out to 70 fow and began our set up. shortly after we had a hit on our 115 dipsy ( gator SD/ lake o fly) it turned out to be a small laker. after it was set it fires again with a 5lb brown. then a 10lb brown. then the 65 rigger fires (homemade gator flasher/bloody nose spoon) and peels out 400ft of line then goes slack. bring it in to find teeth marks on flasher 
took a break then came back out at 12:30pm ran out to 170 FOW and set up shortly after working 170-180 fow 225 dipsy fires (green dot SD/gator spoon) and peels out a ton of line then goes slack bring it in to find out i tied a bad knot to the spoon 
then 245 dipsy fires (gator SD/lake o fly) and we boat a nice 30.5lb king! after reseting the 245 dipsey goes again and we boated a 13lb laker. trolled a little longer then ran in to take a break but didnt have luck on the before dark trip.. BROKE IN THE BOAT WELL -

nice fish i've been wanting to get some bows but i dont have a probe to find the temp and not sure on what speed to go or where on the lake to try

@areyounuts- we ran full 5 spoon rigs and picked up fish on pretty much every spoon from the bottom up
