Thanks for the info this Sunday is the day. Cold front coming in Friday hopefully they don't go far. Yes the outfitter have a mobile spread to. He is supposed to let us no Saturday where to meet.  I can only pray it will be a decent hunt.

Wondering if anyone still sees the snows sitting on Cayuga lake or any of the finger lakes. Hopefully they don't leave and that my guided hunt on February 26th is going to be good.

Wondering if anyone has seen how many snowgeesse are roosting on cayuga lake. Trying to set up a hunt to go after them just need to be sure they are in large numbers. If anyone has some input it would be greatly appreciated. They were there last year and we ended up getting one. But we only hunted once.

Dose anyone no of a spot I could hunt snows for the next 3 weeks in the fingerlakes or around Smithville. Looking to get some permission from some land owner. I have all the equipment and 6 guys just need a spot to do it. I'd be willing to let the land owner hunt with us.

I did get a good picture at 20 yards of this snow owl. That made the weekend somewhat awesome. First time I had ever seen one.

Yup same here spent the weekend with a guide had one good opportunity to kill two birds and my son and father shot and could not nock them down. Spent the rest of the time watching thousands of birds fly over and would not even give us a look.

Tried stalking before but half the time people don't want us hunter's on there property. That's the biggest problem in ny. Other states people don't care just don't get it. I'll post some picks when we kill some.
