My son and my money are attending Oswego University. He's asking me for one of the many rods I have for freshwater fishing. Most of them are bass/trout rods & reels. Is there any particular size/weight rod reel combos that are good for the Oswego area? By the way Oswego would be considered what area on Lake Ontario (ie) south shore etc.  Thanks   Joe

He & I love to fish. I'm from Northern Westchester and when I visit him I'd like to fish on Lake Ontario so that's why I'm here. Trying to keep this thing of ours alive. Catching a few fish will help.  Thanks Joe
