  1. How big? Great fish, good for you!

Weighed him with an old fish scale I had and it said 22 then weighed him when I got home on a good scale and he was 25

  2.

First catch of the season! Anybody know a good taxidermist that is open? And any advice on preserving it until I take him in? He’s wrapped in a wet towel laid flat in the freezer right now. Thanks in advance!

  3. I am getting into lake fishing and bought a bigger boat so I am selling my 14 ft aluminum fishing boat with carpeted floors. Comes with a newer Nissan 6hp four stroke motor that runs great! Boat has some dents in it but is water tight and only cosmetic. Has a pedestal seat on the front row and backed cushions in other two rows. It had a trolling motor mounted on but was removed and the wiring and breaker was left in along with the mounting block. Has an eagle fish finder and switch panel encased in a heavy duty pelican case that can be unhooked and removed if needed. The switch panel controls the bilge pump located under the back seat, power to the fish finder, front LED bow lights, and also has a 12v charging port all electronics run through fuse panel mounted in plastic case . Boat comes with a large fishing net, an anchor with a rope extension, collapsible cup holders mounted between rows, a nice rubber rod holder rack, seat covers for back and middle rows and a cover with a spider type support. This is an excellent fishing boat with everything you need. The trailer is in good shape with a spare tire and brand new lights installed last week . 5. As of now I have homemade pole holders that's just PVC with industrial Velcro to hold the rod in place but I will be upgrading soon. I have cannon manual crank downriggers. I'm not sure the name of the clamps but I have attached a picture post-154034-1393984779135_thumb.jpgpost-154034-13939848800441_thumb.jpg

  6. Hello everyone, I have been fishing my whole life with my dad and now i'm starting to go out on my own more. I own a 14' aluminum boat basic setup with decent fish-finder, trolling motor and pole holders.I have down riggers installed but have never really used them. Any tips on best bait or shallow trolling locations to help me learn would be much appreciated. Thanks
