Cast or troll a spoonbill rebel. While regular cranks will work minnow profile baits work noticeably better for both pike size and numbers.

Good to hear there were no aggressive gators around.

One of the largest pike I ever caught was on a red and white Zara Spook.

Hello fellow fishermen (and women). I'm from Ohio, 61 years old. I have done a little fishing in Lake Ontario, some years back. But my fishing was for bass, perch, pike and walleye on the North shore-Quinte. I'm not a fan of salmonoids for some reason. My love is for the species I fished for a youngster.
