Very nice. Can't wait to see it when you are finished.

A keel guard after a basic fill in of the voids would give some protection and hide the repair. They are easy to apply Prep the surface then peel and stick.

I asked an old timer if a mushroom I had found was edible and without even looking he said shure is then after a long pause he said the important thing is if you can eat one a second time. He never did actually answer my question but I got his point.

I purchased a Trollmaster this spring and it will not power up out of the box I have only managed to get someone to answer the phone once out of at least 50 calls to tell me to go through the vender I bought it from. It has been installed and they say it is a warranty issue. I had a Controllking on a previous boat and it was great. No experience with any others. Good luck. Mel

The height looks good. It looks like there is a row of rivets in front of your transducer what will cause interference. I would go with the other suggestions and put a transducer mounting plate on it and move it so that there's nothing in front of it it. Good luck.

Mysterious Leak
in This Old Boat

If that was under a bunk that is what pressure treated lumber does to aluminum. Just a thought.
To the op if you have a leak under a bunk you won't usually see it by putting water in the boat on the trailer Like others have said jack it up put some blocks in for safety I like the food coloring but don't get it on the carpet.
Good luck.
