  1. Hey Chris, great fishing, great video, great report! My daughter and I would love to achieve what you have, We are kind of a newbie's, out of Sodus Bay and I wanted to ask. When you find the temp. break, do you fish the warm side or cooler side? Also, what where you referring to, when you mention that given the previous analysis of color spectrum and lure depth it make sense why those colors worked that day?

Thanks, Fishen Fool (me) and Summer Fun (my daughter)

  2. Great. Good tips. Thanks, Kooter. Glad you got into them.

I wish I had posted and had gotten this sooner. Because I spoke with a couple of local guys who said the fishing was lossey, the sea flees were terrible ...... So we decided not to go out today and we can't go out tomorrow.

This is a lesson for us. We just have to go out and try. Definiately won't cacth anything on shore.

    Lesson learned. Thanks again.

  3. My daugther and I are going out from Port Bay on Lake Ontario, trolling for Salmon / Trout, Saturday 7.26.14.

We're kind of new to the game still and am woundering if anyone has any tips for us. Depth, water temp (we only have a surface reader), lures, where, etc.?

Is there a thermocline set up anywheres?

Has anyone been suscessful in the area recently?

    Any help is welcome.

Thanks, Fishen Fool - N - Summer Fun

  4. Hey Rippinline, my daughter (Summer Fun ) and I  (Fishen Fool ) had pretty much the same experience Saturday. We ported out of Port Bay from our dock at 6:00, with w buddy of mine. We're both newbies to the game, but he has more experience, so we went with what he said. He thought the Kings were out around 300'. So we went straight out to 300'. No Kings, but we did catch two Steelhead, both 6 ponders.

Caught both on a silver and green spoon.

My daughter and I went of in the evening and just like you, got nothen, didn't even mark fish either.

    Couldn't go out Sunday.

    Good fishen,

    Fishen Fool

  5. I'm looking for an alternator kit, to replace my water cooled, voltage regulator, charging system. On my 1985 Thompson, Mercrusier 170.

1985 was one of the few years Mercrusier used a water cooled charging system. Mine does not work. I want to replace it, with an normal alternator charging system and am looking for a kit to do that with.

If you do not have one. Do you know where I can buy one?

    Thanks. 315-483-8306.
