Even the handle is saying it's too hot....

Lost all battery power Saturday during pro/am...barely made it back from the bar to olcott. Not sure what to look for on outboard motor.....

Ha,I just went out and measured...it's 18ft exactly.to the inch.registered as 17,but measures 18...my 19 year old and I will fish...If,and that's a big if we get in the front four...the officials can figure it out...my money has been collected...biggest challenge is getting him out of bed...lol

I just emailed Bill,awaiting response. If the boat size for open division is minimum 18ft,then that's a huge change for the open division. Open division is supposed to be for us amateurs,why would boat size matter?

Just a follow up on boat length. Shot an email to Bill Hilts asking for his input. He said, as he reads the rules its an 18' minimum for all boats Pro or Am. You should check into it to make sure your not going to have a problem.

Charge it,unhooked from everything....Let it set for 4 or 5 days,then hook back up see if it starts boat. If it holds charge and starts boat,then you know it's not battery.

West side has been free for years now...

I have an x4 on my little 17' boat....Cant couldnt believe the current change.....but still cant figure out what depth is good when surface is 54 and eveything down is in 40s...Where do the kings hang in that situation?   

Steering with dipsys with a tiller will be a challange...locked or not....Fish on...other lines are tangled....When im fishing solo...I go with one or the other...riggers/dipsys...

We wont be waiting.....will be out early.....Unless the weather is crappy......

I guess I started something way bigger than intended.......The main thing.....I just want to feel safe out there and have fun.......

How many of you charter boats are getting in the open division?......wish it was mandatory to post the names.....hmm..that should be a rule....
