I am new to fishing niagara river,and my girlfriends sister lives on mary Vista in tonowanda.i looked up where boat launches were and found one on river rd but requires a launch permit issued by city of tonowanda.i was curious if fishing the Niagara would be worth it and this location.i have a 14ft deep v duanatic all hooked up w down riggers what not have lead core and planner boards too.juet curious how deep this stretch would be and experience what's in there to catch I manly troll hemlock and canadice thanks guys!!

  2. Have a 1974 lund 12 footer without trailer or motor.comes with seats canon downriggers with clutches and bases.new paint new carpet has two holes where fish finder should be mounted.a lot of time and money into this asking $1000 or best offer used mostly on hemlock canadice

  4. First time really stayed consistent on this lake in the middle, 92 feet to be exact. Ended up with two Lakers and one nice rainbow 23 Inches.Missed one release off downrigger with a flasher and squid setup..can't remember a year where we have caught this many rainbows!

  5. Thanks buddy! Just got some dipsys diver I'm gonna give a try during the week.went over to the lake yesterday morning 4 Lakers and 1 nice bow 50 feet down.heading over tomorrow night good luck!

  6. Friday night and Saturday night ran to hemlock 1 small laker that didn't trip release and 5 bass between the two nights off downriggers. Any one else been catching bass 30-40 feet down? Where's the bows at

  7. Thank you I usually troll at 1.9 on the finger lakes and lower.how fast should I be trolling the big pond? I have a ton of dodgers with squid but never had good luck on finger lakes I have seth green rigs would these work on this lake? And I plan on going out of point breeze going west of the break wall how far out do u have to go? Thanks for all the info guys!!

Hey guys I will be heading up to lake ontario possible next Friday or saturday.i have a 14 foot deep v dura nautic offshore with a 9.8 on it.iev talked to a few guys I fish with and they said to go out of point breeze. I was curious if you had any suggestions as this would be my first time fishing this lake.i do mostly trolling on the fingerlakes with spoons but also have dodgers with squid.i will be coming from geneseo so it's about an hour drive . thanks

  9. Slow night on hemlock tonight, but managed to hook up with this rainbow and a small laker.Does anyone know the last time bows or browns were stocked in this lake, along with canadice?

  10. My lund I built boxes made of plywood , and mounted them to the middle bench seat of boat.cannons with clutch would be the best to get

  11. 26 inches it was a tad bit smaller then the 28 inch one we pulled during the spring.wrnt back and forth about having this on the wall 30 " and it's going! You had any luck this year yet?

  12. Went 2 for 4 on the lake tonight. 1st fish brown 35 feet down and the second fish which was a rainbow 20 feet or so off seth green rig....missed another rainbow threw the hook at the surface and had one line release.great night out there.my grandpas expression says it all 86 years young

  13. Forgot to mention thanks to corey that I met at boat launch tonight for telling me about this app! Best of luck to everyone out there on this lake, what I've learned is you will catch quality not quantity on this lake
