  1. Thanks fir the help. we only caught 2 bass but managed to pull in a 28 in. Musky which was a nice surprise. Two fronts moved through that day which didn't help. We also went last Sat and got skunked but we didn't realize the river would be that stained and flowing as fast as it was oh well we know what to look for before we go next time. The water temp was 54 We were marking a lot of fish and the structure looks great in there. Can't wait to get out there and pull a few more fish before the end of the year

  2. My buddy and I are going to the upper niagara tomorrow for smallmouth I've never fished the river before any suggestions on some areas where I might be able to hook up and maybe a good launch to go to? Not new to bass fishing at all I live on lake ontario and fish that and erie as much as I can. Appreciate any advice thank you

  3. John1947 that is really good to hear. I have had the opposite luck in the Hamlin/ Hilton area. what part of the lake are you fishing? I haven't gone for any smallies in a few weeks now because I just can't seem to catch one in the lake anymore

  5. Anyone fish lewis shoal yet? My buddy and I tried today. We fished 5-40 fow and not even 1 smallmouth. Had a small one follow a crank to the boat in 30 fow but didn't take. We threw tubes, wacky, cranks, sticks and drop shots. The only thing we didn't have was live bait. I've put a lot of time trying to catch a bass in the lake the passed couple of months and from Devils nose to lewis shoal and everywhere in between I've been skunked. Is anybody having any luck out there? It's definitely a lot harder to find them out there. It's not like it used to be

  8. It's definitely not what it used to be. They're out there somewhere lol I saw a whole bunch in real shallow at watoma a few weeks ago sitting on beds. Lately I've fished deep, shallow, and everywhere in between. Maybe it's my luck but still not one smallmouth out of the lake
