So it must have dropped a little cause I saw a picture from yesterday and the walk way to the dock was under water but the platform was floating high. Thanks for the info I will definitely be heading that way tomorrow

Ok thanks I fished browns in the creeks in late October last year I didn't know if they were near there staging areas yet like I said Cayuga is new to me I only fished the creeks there

Sadly I have to work. But I will keep you in mind we might meet up someday but I should do ok with spoons and stick baits just to get the hang of it again. This might sound dumb but I have a ton of crawler harnesses and minnow harnesses what the chances be of a brown or bow chasing down a worm or minnow does anyone troll something like that ?

Sadly I don't have a wire rod I have my diver rods rigged with braid for now till I can upgrade but I should be able to get my divers down deep still

Looking to get back into fishing the finger lakes I use to fish Seneca a couple years ago and use to do really good but I'm looking to fish Cayuga this year. Any info would be great. I'm looking to target browns, bows, and landlocks. Lakers are just a bonus fish for me I'm looking for something a little different thanks and I'm hoping the weather holds and I will make my first trip up this weekend

Has anyone fished where the chemung dumps into the susky to me that would seem like a good spot

Thank you I will check them out I have a 17ft tracker with a 40hp with prop but it has a wide bottom that allows me to get shallow and I can trim the motor up so 3ft of water isn't a problem I just hate being in it all the time I like to see a little drop every now and then lol

Is terry town shallow? I'm not sure where that is

Lol I will see what happens Saturday and I can normally tell the river height and color on my way home from work I have to drive along the tioga river and that dumps into the chemung which drops into the susky and the river here looks great

I can catch and release all day in PA my NY license is no longer valid so I will not be in NY waters fishing. This post was for info not throwing a hissy fit over catch and release if you would like to throw a hissy fit you can take your arguments to the creeks of Ontario and mess with the guys that are chasing trout as the trout are spawning. Thank you and tight lines I will be fishing Saturday for walleye weather people approve or not I pay for my license every year like others and just because the season is closed but I can catch and release in PA I will do so thank you and have a good night

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help a fellow angler out I've spent time down in Sunbury PA on the susky but am looking to start fishing the north branch for Catfish and walleye but need help with different launches I'm looking for a little deeper water and I've launched out of Ulster but I can't seem to find deep water maybe it's me could someone please point me in a direction to start thanks in advance

Once in awhile I forget to turn my fishfinder off when I power load pull the boat out but its only on for a couple mins just dumb little things

Lol I'm not looking forward to it if it's the transducer I don't have $200 to throw at it I'm going to start with the wires but I think you right I think I have a bad cell in my 1 battery cause I charged it all night went to use my trolling motor and the gauge on my trolling motor was at 40% so I think I have it narrowed down and its time for new batteries in my eyes its been 4years of hard use in the heat and super cold

Not sure on my fish finder it works good every now and then, then out of the blue if I'm over 100fow or any depth it will just blink and read 0fow then will pick right back up at the correct depth I'm going to try and switch my wiring harness out to a heavier gauge wire to see if I'm not getting the correct power or my old harness might be bad. Congrats your doing better than I am I got the one brown on cann. So far and hooked 2 other browns that broke my leaders at the boat not doing so hot this year lol
