I lost the nylon ring which is connected to the weight retriever line. The downrigger wire cable runs through it.

Contacted Scotty they will not sell just the ring.

Has anyone come up with a good alternative?

I have new to me  Scotty Depthpower electric downriggers. 

They retrieve cable if you operate in manual and auto, but on auto they will not stop. I do have beads on the cable.

What trips the auto stop to stop?

I recently purchased a pair of Scotty 11090 electric downriggers with 2 foot booms.

My boat presently has Scotty manuals with

ajustable boom.

Is there any issue with swapping the booms?

I have used a brass case tumbler with walnut shell media.
I would guess at least 80% came out looking new after 2 hours in the tumbler.

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the Go fish camera  flat line trolling, pulling behind a down rigger or  Dipsy diver?

I have a 2002 Proline WA and interested installing a self deploy and retract bow mounted trolling motor. 

Thinking I will need to modify the bow rail.

Does anyone have any experience with selecting the correct motor?

Would like to have it professionally installed.
