I too like saltwater fishing — and just bought a 28' offshore boat and all the gear to outfit it. I'm based in North Carolina (with a farm on Lake Erie) so I'm a lot closer to warm-water fishing. I grew up in Westfield, NY on the banks of Lake Erie. I've fished the US East of the Rockies, the Caribbean, the Mexican Pacific and the Northern reaches of Canada.
Last fall I bought a '98 Proline 2610 walk-around with twin Yamaha 4-stroke 150s on a bracket. I'm outfitting it for Lakes Erie & Ontario as well as offshore North Carolina and Florida.
Life is good — and better yet if you are fishing or hunting!

I have a farm in Fredonia, NY (30 miles SW of Buffalo) but spend most of my time in North Carolina. I'll be in Fredonia next week if that helps. If I know in advance I'll take these with me.
