Started fishing early off Sandy Pond. We concentrated between 120 and 135fow. Heavy marks both bait and solid arches. Finally had release off rigger on flash/fly and boated very nice 10# Brown. After 3 hours sent bells down but no takers. Occasional 4 footers that laid down to 2s. Quit fishing at 12:30 with the single Brown. Most radio traffic was frustration on lack of bite. Surface temperature, 75/76.

Went out this morning and as everyone knows it was sloppy. Started, off the Stony lighthouse marking only bait and decided to fish with the waves. With the kicker we could maintain slow of 2.1 but rods were quite. First fish on came off wire in 130fow 290 back at 1.5 setting. Think it was a Skippy or small Brown but Will never know cause it came off half way back. Kept moving North in the trench when in 110fow second dipsy fired and we boated an 18# King. Same setting on dipsy and pulling purple and green ladderback with back side chrome Stinger. Rest of the morning produced one laker and one White fish.

Came out this evening, fished the finger, marks not heavy till trowlling back off light house in 130fow. Same story, lotsof marks both bait and fish....no takers.

Started North around 0900. Picked up and ran till just south of Galoo.

We came in at 1130, most of the day was without marks, neither bait or fish. The few fish we marked resulted in a hook up. Didn't want to play with Lakers, but the grandsons wanted any action.

May have seen you out there. We started in the same area without luck. Moved North toward lanes and got a heavy trout bite for about an hour. Fishing 140fow with bells on the bottom. Little bait and few marks. Lake laid down and nats came out. Still looking for them Kings.

Tried a late eve trip out of Henderson. 140 fow plenty of bait on the bottom and good marks up to 80 fow. Fished 6:30 to 8:30 and caught two Skippys. Both on green/black stingers, sorry don't know name. One came on rigger 120 down other on wire 275 back 1.5 setting.

Most of the nine we boated came on the dipsys, 300' of wire back on 1.5 setting. Only one (laker) came on rigger, 110 down.

That laker was 20#s, one of seven with the rest over 10#s.

Hats off to the Captains who are finding adult Salmon in our area. Seems to be an abudance of slab Lakers, we have boated 5 over 20#s and to many to count over 13#s. Skippys keep coming, usually 2 each trip. One nice Steelhead this season and around 10 Browns, one pictured with my Grandson over 10#s. Try as we might, only one median size King. Pulls at the heart reading of the success South of us that started as early as May. Seems the state has decided to cut stocking this end of the lake in any numbers. Those of us who were around in the late 80s, early 90s, will remember a much better King fishery.

Late report, we tried an afternoon/evening trip Wed and ended up in 150fow off the Salmon River. Marked bait on the bottom but didn't get our first bite til 6pm. One slab Brown, one junior King, 3 Skippy kings and one laker. All on stinger green/black spoons and all on dipsys 300' back on 1.5 settings. Speed was 2.2 to 2.5.

Last Sat I stayed in the trench off stony lighthouse between 60 and. 120'. Catching was slow but boated 4 Browns, biggest 10#s. All off riggers with yellow/orange/green combo, stingers.
