No shortage of bait along wall but sparse as you work out towards the finger. 3/3 - 2 on blue dolphin spoon and 1 on blue/green meat head.

I didn't mark much today off mountain/finger. Did manage to catch (release) first tagged fish. I've only been fishing here 3 years and working on learning the seasonal pattern.

Anything greater than 20' I've been drop shotting with gulp minnow or leech for last couple years

All fishing is great for each unique reason. I grew up in the midwest trotlineing catfish and bow fishing for carp and gar. Took trips to northern Minnesota for eyes and lived in the south for years catching largemouth. I will say I am having a blast catching trophy walleye, smallmouth and salmon in upstate ny.

I think the most important thing is trying new things and enjoying the outdoors
