  1. Looking into having floor replaced on my 1998 18' Lund. Floor isn't noticeably soft anywhere but after pulling a few screws out it looks like some rot is forming, plus the carpet has GOT to go. Carpet is for your grandparents' living rooms, not fishing boats.
Any recommendations on shops/dealer to do this? Wanting to get a few quotes to compare to doing it myself.

Anybody that has done this themselves have recommendations? Did you use composite material or epoxy marine grade wood? Non-skid marine paint or non-skid vinyl?

    Thanks in advance

  2. Lund pike 16 with roller trailer. Clean boat - no leaks. Was my grandfathers boat which he bought new. 2-stroke 50 hp Johnson tuned up last year - set points, new power pack. Ran only non-ethanol. Awesome bigger water duck boat as it does well under load - pops up on plane with 4 guys, dog, decoys, etc.

Will conside trades for ATV / trailer

$2,300 for boat, motor, and trailer

I can sell with or without the following accessories for additional

    - humminbird 859 hd
    - 6hp short shaft kicker (1984?) 2 -stroke
    - 80lb thrust minnkota terrova i-pilot bow mount trolling motor and 2 batteries
I previously had a scissor blind on it, if you plan on building a blind on it I can toss in a bunch of fast grass.

This has been a great hunting and fishing machine for me. Just upgraded and don't have the space for 2 boats.
Feel free to call/text with any questions. Happy to meet you on Cayuga for a test ride before selling.

  3. Back up for sale since the guy never picked it up. 24v - 60” shaft

Bought freshly rebuilt this past summer by certified minnkota shop and lightly used. Basically new, only reason I’m selling is because my new boat comes with one already rigged.

This was ALWAYS ran with a stabilizer ram mount so it didn’t get slapped around in chop.

Comes with foot pedal and remote.

    $1000 OBO

Willing to part with the batteries. Also bought those summer of 2017 - size 34 Duracell platinums which are still under Warranty until 2019. With batteries - $1200 OBO

Pick up in the Ithaca area preferred.

  4.

2014 MTI dual axle trailer w/ electric breaks. Fully insulated with propane stove and heater. 12v electric wired up to fans, LED lighting and USB ports with rocker switches. Removable bunks on rails so you can slide them up above door in order to load atv/snowmobile, decoys, etc.

I built and used this as an ice fishing wheelhouse. Catch covers with drop down sleeves that go straight into the ice hole so you can fish rattle reels all night without cold drafts. Caught many fish out of it just don’t get much use out of it out here. Any questions feel free to ask.

Would make a great decoy trailer/deer camp/ice house. Testing the waters on selling it or trade.

  5. I agree with the above for depths / locations. In front of Myers / the salt mine has produced as well. The fishing (and weather) has been hot lately.. We've landed 10+ lbers almost every day over the past 3 weeks - note: please release the larger ones, not only are they good breeders and old fish but they also have a much higher mercury content..

I have an Ipilot trolling motor and don't use it near as often as my drift socks. Sure you can anchor up and pound the same bottom and pick up some fish but staying on the move helps if you want to put numbers in the boat.

1oz jig heads work fine... you're fishing under 100' right now. Plus the slower fall as compared to the 1.5 - 2oz seems to be more enticing. Dicks sporting goods has your standard keitech paddletails that work great. Try different retrieve speeds: there were some days they wanted them moving slow 2ft/s and other times fast 10 ft/s - keep your bait moving though.

Welcome to the jigging game. Beats the crap out of trolling once you get it down.
