Good luck tomorrow out of IBay. I’m thinking about going out in the am or pm. I’m really hoping the water changes soon. The ultra crystal clear crap is killer. I spent 6 hours yesterday inshore to 80’ and not a single strike. That’s using different color spoons, fly’s, gambler rigs etc

It’s a good thing you weren’t fishing out of port of Rochester or IBay. 

Same thing happened to me earlier today. Everything was perfect except no fish were willing to bite. It was crazy 

Went out of IBay this morning. Gin clear water. Fished from 8’ to 75’ without even a bite. Very frustrated. Tried everything. Riggers, divers, planers

We’re you using boards and downriggers?

I have struggled with fixed cheaters and tangles for about a year and finally came to a few conclusions.
 
cheaters suck on main line braided or even low pound test No matter what I did I would get a tangle with free or fixed using almost every method.
 
heavier pound test on the main line is awesome and paired with action stackers I didn’t get a single tangle and was able to release it quick!
