I have caught a ton of pike a good amount of LM Bass and a few real nice smallies in the 1000 Islands.  However, no sign of the walleyes.  Usually catch a few by now. Even if when fishing for smallies. Anyone having any luck with walleyes??

Heading to A-Bay Friday for the weekend.  Anyone having walleye success in the area? What methods and baits if yes?

With May 1st just around the corner, where are the best spots to fish for walleye in the 1000 Islands very early post spawn? Where have folks had success before?

I don't want to fish with four guys in that boat. I, like RKP am looking for a fishing boat for 1000 Islands and maybe a little on the lake.  Wife wants me out of the family Sea Ray Sundeck as much as I want a real boat to fish out of.  Right now, lot's of junk at a premium price out there.  As people get vaccinated and kids sports programs and other activities start back up, boat prices will come down. 7 yr old grandson has gotten the bug.  Looking forward to Spring.
