Here is the new layout and some of its new features. I can not wait to run these in the upcoming season. 2. The engine has to be a 4 stroke.....unless you can get crafty and creative with the bracket that comes with the trollmaster. The bracket is easily bent in a vice to fit different engine layouts.

  3. At the end of last season I picked up a new rig for the 2012 season. This will be a Huge Step up for me from the Lund Baron but I am very excited in the learning adventure I should have next season. She is a 1988 298 Penn Yan Predator with around a 1000 hours on each engine. Here are a few pictures of her as I bought her which is going to be alot different than she will look after I am done with her! 8)

  4. I am in the market for a new autopilot for my Penn Yan Predator 298 for 2012 and am considering the AP 24 to be at the top of my list but would like to hear pros cons from other owners of other models.

Let me know what you have any if you like it. Anyone have the Simrad AP 24? I loved my AP14 that I just sold with my Lund and have seen the 24 in action on a friends boat.

  6. The dry weight of the boat is 1580 pounds and I trailer it with my 2000 Toyota 4 Runner no problem. The Trailmaster trailer has surge brakes and has a single axle trailer. The surge brakes save your trucks brakes- My truck is a 6 cyl and i only notice about a 2 mpg difference in it when i fish twice a week- (Towing to and from the launch twice)
