  1. I have been in 18ft to 25ft of water between Braddocks and Light House Point.

No secret spots, I have the Cmap card on the GPS , just look for shoals and

humps in that depth. The fish are not in tight schools, just scatered in my last couple times out.

The lure is called a Speed Trap by Jenson I believe, has a orange belly on it.

Any crank bait that gets down 12ft should work.

  2. Buddy of mine has two older digitrolls and wants to know how to program them. Is it the same as the new style key touch pads?

One rigger seems to have a program that drops the ball 32ft ,50ft,80ft

then comes back up again. It may have a bad circuit board too.?

    Thanks for any help.

  3. 6am till 10:30am got rough.

Trolled outside harbor in 50ft. One walleye and a 12" perch.

    Bomber stick baits 40 down.

Then drifted for bass in 18 to 25 ft of water, 1 for 4, They were jumping and spitting the tube jigs back at us.

Very windy and short rain showers all morning.

  4. Agree it's a weird start........

These spring browns have to go right to the bottom in around 40 ft of water

    when the water is clear.

I know temp is important but they sure don't like the shallow

clear water, and if they are deeper it cold water too.

    So what do you do?

We just have to figure them out.

I was out last Sunday and saw bottom in 32 feet by Light House shoal.

  5. This tip will help you.

Replace the pilot bit in your hole saw with a longer one.

This will allow you to start your 30 angle approach.

You shouldn't have to oval the hole, just cut on an angle.

A metal hole saw will cut your aluminum easier than the agresive wood hole saw bits and will still go through the wood it will just take a bit longer.

The big box stores have these, bring your holder with you to get right size,

    go 1/8 larger.

  6. jeky I am being sarcastic, I would buy any of your used engines, you are the exception to the rule.

Most people don't think about whats going on under the cover, just turn the key and go.

I have 220,000 miles on my truck and the service dept. always try to sell me special high mileage oil. I ask them how did I get this many miles in the first place with normal 10w-30 all these years? They just look at me funny.

  7. When other boats ask what you are catching them on you can

tell them the "No See Um" lure that company *^&%% just came out with!

Take a picture of the lure with cell phone, send it to some one and ask

    what color you have choosen.
