Bite has been tough don’t get me wrong. We’re seeing the results of our stocking cuts for sure.
Despite that however there are fish to be caught. Attention to details now more important than ever.
Fishing offshore been the best
550-720fow.
Flashers with meat been producing majority of bites on board my boat. High spoons up in the warm water early taking there share as well.
White and greens early with ATOMMIK ghost twinks and chartreuse stuff in the sun with primetime twinks.
Speeds fast 2.7-3.0 normally

I have not been out much but I recently bought a 2013 Ranger 621VS and broke it in the right way a few weeks back.
First one a 45” followed by a 49.5” x 26” giant!

Well not typically way I rig to catch musky, however all the stars aligned just right for Jared Mengle while fishing for browns on board my boat Prime Time.

The musky hit a stinger spoon on a 4 color leadcore rod with a 10lb test leader.

After a lengthy battle during which I’m thinking we have the state record brown on, this giant surfaces. We netted her, got a quick measurement and photo and let her go unharmed no worse for ware. My second largest musky ever….admittedly by pure accident but I’ll take it.
