  1. That is correct Jerry, sample size is everything. If you have only a limited number of years and small data set, you won't get an accurate picture of the situation. ~Tricia Just my two cents! 😊 Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. The DEC do look at these posts and use them to get a feel for what the fishing community is concerned about.
  3. Meeting is tonight at 6pm at the Irondequoit Fish & Game Club, 658 Bay Front S, Rochester, NY 14609
  4. Would like to thank all of you for your well wishes, thoughts, prayers and support ! Tricia and I are so touched by the outpouring of support that we have received. Can't thank you enough! Just wanted you all to know that I am home now and doing well and getting better every day. Look forward to seeing you all on the water soon! Here is to a great fishing season ahead! 😊
  5. Two small bags off the sides will keep your boat straighter. One big bag off the back can possibly get caught in your prop.

  9. Hi All, There are great differences in the bags.. .regardless if they are called drift socks or trolling bags. I guess I will put my own plug here... My bags are heavily reinforced to give them extra strength. I use UV Marine heavy canvas and webbing. I can post a picture later.. don't have one where I am logged in right now. I have made these for other captains and they have been very happy with their performance. They open easily and really hold up to the heavy use that we put them through. You can give me a call at 585.615.6504 if you are interested. Can't wait to get back on the water! Tight Lines - Tricia

  13. Cancelled am trip due to rough water, but fished our afternoon trip in 2-3 footers. Started in 10-15fow at 1:30, made three passes off the pier head and hooked up with one good fish and lost it. Ran offshore and fished 400fow, temp was 65degrees at the surface and down to 100fow. We did 10 Steelies, 10ft to 90ft down and did 2 kings down 115 & 125 on flashers and flies. White on white flasher w/ mirage flies. Biggest fish was 31.8lbs. Steelies averaged 6-8lbs.
  14. Awesome Laker Jude! and very nice pic !
