  1. I have one from the talora lead core rods. I'm at Wilson Marina. pm me
  2. There is a guy that makes and sells downrigger ball snubbers for this issue, He stays is in the Olcott trailer park during the season. I know a lot of people running these with no issues. These snubbers work great for this problem.
  3. Get the one for USA and Canada if you fish Lake Erie or Ontario because they don't cover the lakes to the border for USA only.
  4. Great Lakes Angler Magazine is offering a show special to subscribe to their magazine or extend your current subscription. 5. Chris, I also have tried to get hold of Bob since Sept. My son won on 8/26 and we have heard nothing.
  6. The date was my mistake, I wrote the coupon number down. 8/26 is the correct date. This would be a great derby if people got in it but who is going to buy tickets when the rules show that their could be black out dates.
  7. I see the black out ended on August 16th, my son caught his fish August 26th and the other person that won on the last day of the pedd also didn't get paid and no answers to emails, he gave up trying. Still no reason not to answer emails since September. You should still receive notice if you won and won't be paid, its just good business. In all fairness this is the last pedd I will be in. Note: why arnen't the weigh stations notified of these black out dates so fish are not weighed
  8. My son got the biggest fish on 8/14/2011(correction: the date is 8/26/2011) and hasn’t been paid, we can’t seem to get any replies from emails off their website. I know of another person that hasn’t been paid also. Is their any one else that didn’t get paid that was in the pay every day derby or know why they don’t answer any emails. Not a good way to do business.
  9. If you would like information on the LOTSA Olcott Pen Project and help out please join our mailing list. All I need is your first and last name and email address and you will be kept up to date on the Project. Send to [email protected] I will be sending an email out as to when we will be receiving the little guys. Thanks Hank & Tim Condes LOTSA Olcott Pen Project Coordinators 716-316-5148
  10. the boat is 28-feet Baha 9'-6" beam 6300 dry weight deep-V Hard chine planing type with a Thruster & kicker With a bow thruster you won't have any problems docking and they troll very straight. I had a Baha 25 single screw with no thruster and it took a while to get use. A friend of mine has a 25 Carolina Classic single screw with a bow thruster and he backs his boat all the time.
  11. This is what I was told was the case all along the lake in 2009. Makeing their natural reproduction estimates very unreliable at that point. Like you stated Lee, who knows for sure. Glen I'm speaking for the pen project in Olcott and I do all the weight checks. We have received clipped kings since 2008. I have looked for fish not clipped and haven’t found any since we’ve been getting clipped fish. I also have no reason to not believe the number of fish that the Salmon River Hatchery delivers to us. They are the people that do the work and are a great group to work with. Hank Condes Olcott Pen Coordinator
  12. The DEC said that the Salmon River Hatchery in Altmar was only one person down and they have been for awhile so that won't affect their operation.
  13. I seen it at the LOTSA Expo and it looks awesome, great work Paul.
  14. You are so correct, it doesn't matter where you get it from, Kwik fill ads say all American fuel and you pay even more at the pump.
