  1. Looking for anything that will chase my ball. First trip all year looking for help. THanks, Brad
  2. Rumor has it that u should head east of Oswego out to 200 ft and troll out to 300ft. The temp is down past 100 ft in 200 to 300 ft of water and so are the Kings. Green E chip with cut bait is working well along with NBK spoons.bn
  3. Dip fish fillets into milk and then into a mix consisting of 2/3 Parmesan to 1/3 bread crumbs. Place into pyrex glass with the bottom covered in butter and add 3-4 tablespoons of vermouth, 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1-2 table spoons of Chardonnay to every 1# fillet. Add salt and pepper as needed. (You can add the remaining Parmesan bread crumbs to the dish, but you may want to add more Vermouth, Chardonnay, and Lemon Juice.) Bake at 450 degrees for 14-20 minutes (depending on fillet size) and enjoy. It's also great with chicken. Please let me know if you tried it and like it, or if you have any suggestions to make it better.
  4. I bet it's nice to be back fishing in familiar waters. Very nice fish by the way! I will send you some pics of that 34 inch Koho I picked up when I upload them from my phone and thanks again for the help. I will be back up North in August, so lets talk. Brad 5703353790 [email protected]
  5. Jim, If you see this post....I forgot to leave you my contact info in your boat. If you read this, please email me your info and I will reply with mine. My email is [email protected].
  6. Your tips are appreciated and I plan on trying a charter when I get up there to see what they're doing. I had a one day visit to Fair Haven last labor day before the Hurricane and got a tip or two at Screwy Louie's and set out for Salmon and got two screaming reels which produced one King Salmon! Sorry about alll the questions...I sometimes get carried but will review past posts for good tips on how to fill the freezer. Your help is greatly appreciated.
  7. Thanks for the info guys! The charter is probably a good idea, and I can try it when I drop my boat to have a new kicker motor installed. I will review the past posts for Fair Haven and thanks for the tip on the Browns. Tight lines and thanks!
  8. Hello fellow fisherman. PA fisherman taking my once a year fishing vacation on Lake Ontario from June 23rd to June 30th. I'm in need of help and tips on how to fish for Trout and Salmon and am fishing out of Fair Haven NY. Any help provided would be greatly appreciated and I was looking for advice on the following subjects. By the way! If you own a tackle shop....set me up. I need tackle! What Salmon are active now, and at what depths can I find them...in how many feet of water? What lures, flies, flashers, spinner, spoons, or cut bait holders should I try including glow colors for Salmon fishing? Where can I buy them (good local bait and tackle shop) and what specific brands, sizes and colors should I use? Anything special such as optimal trolling speed that I should do for Salmon fishing with my downriggers, or should I use another method of fishing. What Trout are active now and at what depths can I find them...in how many feet of water? What color lures, flies, flashers, spinner, spoons, or cut bait holders should I try including glow colors for Trout fishing? Where can I buy them (good local bait and tackle shop) and what specific brands, sizes and colors should I use? Anything special such as optimal trolling speed that I should do for Trout fishing with my downriggers, or should I use another method of fishing. What radio channel should I listen to for chatter? Are there any tow services or calls that can be made if I get stranded with a failed motor? Are there any other considerations that I should take such as another good species to fish for (i.e. Walleye, Northerns, etc.) or certain places I should go? Any help is greatly appreciated and there are some very nice fish posted on this page. Tight lines and thanks! Brad
