Copper is a different animal used rot trolling like lead core but you get deeper depth , not ment for divers ...... Maybe somebody else will chime in and give a little more info to help you out

I got a few on a gold vibrax spinner with a 3/8 keel weight.

that's interesting.....I often thought of running spinners but never done so

I made my own with some parts from tractor supply and have worked for 3 seasons without issues.

Cabelas had their advanced angler boards with strike kit for $24.99 if you're looking for boards and strike kit.

I have ran those boards Cabelas for 4 years and they run great.

I bought 4 one time for 11.99 each with the flag system ,,,Cabelas bargin cave .....they are green ..never used them yet, I always use the big boards

My riggers are bonded , my main battery is bonded ....but that's so the short stop works on my riggers....that's s all I know about bonding

With paddles I have caught nothing on straight UV.   Mostly, I think the UV catches fishermen.  We are all guilty of looking for the "magic bait" that no fish can resist.  To me UV is an accent.....nothing more.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING AND HAVE EXPERIENCED..........

The tail dancers and deep tail dancers are without a doubt the lures I troll the most hands down, but they aren't nearly as rugged as most others. Any balsa bait isn't gonna be durable like the bay rats. I had 11 rapala's snapped between the hooks this year. Rapala's are basically 1 fish per bait on big fish. I have a whole box of broken rapala's I save for replacement hooks. That being said they work better than anything I've tried too....can't wait to try another way over priced new rapala's.

I send my broken raps back every year and they replace them
