i just added a HDS 7 to my network and it works amazing, needed some help from customer service on the setup but it works 10X better than the lcx 28hd i installed last year. great detail in both sonar and gps mode. make sure you get it with insight.

i had the same noise with the same engine but only at a idle. it ended up being a clutch plate but this did not change the performance. when you raise the rpm, the noise disappeared. hope this helps

i painted my boat two years ago and it is holding up perfect. i had antifouling paint on the bottom and it was a horrible job removing it all. i started with a pressure washer to remove the loose stuff and a hole bunch of oven cleaner to remove the paint. make sure you take it off the trailer first and it will take multilpe applications of oven cleaner to remove all the paint. once i had the paint and most of the primer removed, i sanded the rest with a DA and multiple grades of sandpaper. I had the local auto paint store come and shoot the paint color and then mix two gallons of dupont emrnon and painted up to the gunwhale. the paint was extremely expensive but worth every cent. attached are some before and after. they are adjustable up to 4 feet. I am trying to post pictures but having difficulties. these riggers have auto stops and swivel bases but no pole holders. they were used two seasons before i sold the boat.

i was looking for $650 for both or 325 a piece. they come with swivel bases.

I have a 25ft sportcraft with a inboard and hydralic steering and want to put a autopilot on it. i need just a basic unit to hold the boat staight when there is only one or two people on the boat and we hook up. Any suggestions on the best buy for the situation and i would like a quailty unit so i am not looking for the cheapest?

I am also thinking about installing a kicker but was not sure if it could get hooked to the same steering system?

I appreciate any help that you guys can provide.

fishing is slow but boat several kings and steelheads. all action was due north from port from 180 - 250 fow. riggers 45 - 70 down with hammer fly on a white spin doctor being most productive. 120 - 180 back on wire and kevorkian spoon. largest king being 18pds and largest steelhead being just under 15pds.

saturday was excellent day for fishing between the microwave to the plant. we went 25 for 42 on spoons mostly on the riggers. biggest fish being 18 pds and multiple teens. Sunday was the same way doing 18 for 33 biggest fish being 17 pds. monday started the same way before the weather started acting up. greens, blues, oranges where the popular spoons with a occasional cooper thrown into the mix. everthing came between 80 and 120 deep down 47 to 72 on the riggers and 160 to 210 on the wire. good luck.
