  1. Can anyone help me with a place around Vestal/Broome County where I can bring a couple 10 yr olds and have them catch a bunch of anything? I troll Cayuga and fish the rivers alot but these kids aren't patient enough for that yet. You know, kids don't care how big as long as there is alot of action. From shore or by boat are fine. I have a 14 ft boat as well as my lake boat...Thanks, Jerry
  2. For years, all we had in Binghamton was Dicks ......Gander Mtn is a huge move up.....
  3. Thanks guys, you got me thinking...I bet by tying them to the bow and letting them run back I have too much line out. I notice the bags can move away from the boat in the wind and current. Probably act like a sea anchor. I'm going to tie them further back and shorten the leads...
  4. Hi, I recently bought a couple 22" amish bags for my boat. I had a trolling plate on my last boat and recently bought a new boat and the bags. Its a 19' Grady white tournament. The bags slow the boat down great but they really steer the boat around, if I let the wheel go the boat will turn pretty sharply. The boat has hydraulic steering and the motor stays straight, the bags definately are causing the problem. Does anyone have any advice on using these bags. I hang them off the bow rails and let them drop backabout 2/3 of the boat length, maybe there is a better way. Thanks, Jer
  5. I'm going to buy some amish trolling bags for my 19' Grady White. I was thinking a pair of 22" bags off the bow should do it. It has a 175 Yamaha OB. From your experiences, does this sound like the right size and qty of bags? Thanks, Jer
  6. I'm fitting up my new (to me) Grady with Big Jons and like the idea of usng the gimbal mounts that fit into the flush rod holders on the gunwale. Does anyone have experience with these types of mounts?
