  1. I have observed on boats where the no communication rule is in effect. It always worked out pretty well. Cell phones in the hands of the observer and shut off, or on the dash. There is no sure fire way to make sure that no one is going downstairs and texting, but as with most of these rules, nothing is foolproof.

  2. Yeah, Bob can let you know, but I think there is room there again. Rod - you can be right next to us again so Todd can pelt your boat with cheese balls. He's looking forward to it. I'll give Bob a call in the morning and check on it for you- unless he sees this first. :)

  3. Hey I'm doing the best I can for ya buddy!

My Dad and Todd really enjoyed their time out on your boat Friday and said they learned quite a bit - so thanks again for that.

Also, they learned not to lock other peoples vehicles without asking them first whether they have another set of keys. I told my dad about that and he said he knew Todd shouldn't have locked the doors  I told them it all turned out ok but they still feel bad.

    See you (probably) this weekend!

  4. No... Thank YOU. :)

Had a wonderful time joining you guys this weekend. It was a great experience to fish the snotty waters, and I did take quite a bit away from it. Anytime I can get out on the water, catch some fish, and learn a few new tricks is a good time.

Congrats to all the winners! Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend - that is what these events are all about after all.

  5. I know Rod. We are pretty pathetic up here...

We were all up and attem for the weekend and it ended up being pretty yucky. Saturday Dad had to work and Todd and I had a family reunion and a benefit party to go to, and the lake was rocky (waterspouts! Yay!)

Sunday we had planned on all going out... got up at 6, called Bob, he said there were good 3-5 footers and only 6 charter boats were out (one of the good ones stayed in even) So we opted against it (actually, fell back into bed is a better term for it)

Today would have been good, Marcus called in sick because he might have partied a little too hard this weekend, and Todd was around, but we played with the mud truck at my house instead (ripping out trees with it... the goofy grin on Marcus' face was reward enough)

    I digress (finally).

    Maybe tomorrow night...

Geez... all these guys and their "work" thing.... Don't know whats wrong with them... keeps me off the lake all week (except an occasional evening troll which happen to be my favorite time to be out)

Ohh, and BOB never lets me go out with him either... I could at least watch fishing 8)

  6. Haha Rod, most of the time I think Bob and myself would agree that YOU CAN HAVE HIM!!!!! Kidding of course, Marcus is one of my favorite people (most of the time) :D

In all seriousness - The Spring Scotty was a blast last year, and I hope you guys do fish it. Such a pretty port, well run tourney, and great people!

  7. Team Fishfull Thinking would like to send their condolences and prayers to Captain Bob Buck of Salmon Bound Charters.

Bob's Father passed away last night after being admitted to the hospital on Sunday.

Bob runs Charters out of Sodus Point, in case you don't know him. This definitely puts a bit of a damper on the ProAm excitement for him and those of us around him.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

  8. Billy - If you get us your info, you can pay Friday.

Call Bob Buck (Salmon Bound) 585-721-2632, or PM me with Boat name and location and we will take care of the rest later.

I couldn't get ahold of Bob just now but I think this will work out. Unfortunately Bob's dad was taken to the hospital last night and he may not make it through the night - if you don't get a response from him if you call, just be patient,he'll get back to you when he can.

    Hope this helps :)
