  1. You must be fishing a different lake erie than I am. Fished Meyers,Seneca, and windmills 6:30 till 11:00.

Didn't get one walleye or see one caught. Heard of a guy who had 1. Maybe I need a new Boat :) .

    Oh well maybe next week.

Any reports from dunkirk or Barcelona?

  2. I'm somewhat new to the lake erie perch thing , think I need some help.

Guys near me pull in 3 or 4 to my one. I see their lost bait float by (emeralds).

I can't find them anywhere. I'm using goldies and parts of crawlers. Any help

    would be welcome.

    Thanks

    Jeff

  3. Have a 16' aluminum tracker boat. Noticed 2 places there is a x shaped tear a couple inches long with the rivet in the center. should I have a plate welded over this spot? or is there an epoxy that will fix this sort of thing?

  4. OK I'm somewhat green at this salmon thing. Caught my first few last summer. Mostly out of olcott or fort niagara. I've been reading a lot about temps at the ball ,but the depth raiders are alittle out of my price range. Is there any other way to get these readings? the weighted probes only have 50' cables , has anyone extended these with any success? Thanks for any suggestions.

  5. Been going to camps bay for at least 6 yrs now. Usually the end of august. We do well on walleye using worm harnesses and bottom bouncers try trolling across from the cabins along the north shore headed east. I know others do well with jigs. I try to stay in 25 to32 ft. of water. We get sone northerns casting #4 or 5 spinners in the many shallow bays toward the east end of the lake.Ask or get a map and find east bay.Watch where the other boats are fishing and either troll, drift ,or anchor with worms or minnows you'll pick up bass and walleye. It's a big lake with alot of structure dont have to go far to do well.
