Have been fishing Fairhave the last three weeks and have done OK. Last week a charter captain friend of mine said he boated 11 off nine mile. Thought I would give it a try. Nothing there today for me. Though I will say bait was congregating around 100 ft down in 160 ft of water in quite a few loacations. Any news on Fairhaven /Port bay today? Dan
  2. Fished out of Fairhaven last sunday, east of the shute,3 for 3 on mature kings in a three hours. Fished 250 foot of water. Fish taken on white and white/green spinddoctors Atomic hammer flies 350 back on the wire. Wednesday night 2 for 2 one really small king and one really small coho. The Syracuse post fishing report indicated that the fish that were set up in Oswego have moved east. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Would I be better off going back to Fairhaven or head east to the nuke plant and fish towards Sandy pond? Depths? Thanks Dan
  3. Thanks for the feed back. Maybe the difference being most of the water we trolled over was 46 to 48 degrees. I use light line 8 lb and 12 lb. Just couldn't find them. Were the fish you caught in even tighter or were they out further? Dan
  4. Not so good for me this weekend. Saturday morning 3 for 4. Fish were all small around 3-5 pounds. Tried a variety of spoons. Two fish came in 14 ft of water on planers infront of the cottages just east of butterfly other one out in front of the orchard in 19 ft off of the rigger 10 ft down the last at the ledges in 30 ft of water 15 feet down on the rigger. Could have probably picked up more at Butterfly but was looking for bigger fish. Sunday one small brown 14 ft of water in front of Butterfly. Made two passes up to Catfish nthing else. Went over to Sunset bay made a pass at 20 ft the back at 14 nothing. Saturday lures fish hit were DW ss greasy Chicken and sutton 41 with strip of lime green tape. The fish caught saturday had alwives in them no Gobies so Sunday tried Sutton 71 with the green tape which caught the only one rthe others tried nothing. Where did they go? What am I missing? Appreciate any advise. Dan
  5. Guys, Thanks for all the feedback. Hank, I am specifically looking for silver spoons approximately 1.75" long .68 wide. I have only one left. It is a great early Brown spoon. I have tried to attach a picture hope it comes out. Dan
  6. Does anybody out there know where one could find attacker spoons? I believe they were made in Fulton NY by Fulton Tool and Die. Hot little spoons simple and effective.
