  2. Well the boat is for sale with most of the fishing equipment.  The boat is a 1988 Penn Yan 26.5 Pro Hunter it has a single 350 ci inboard, cruises nicely at 20mph at 3500 rpm.  I traded my 21ft Steiger Craft to the charter captain who was docked next to me who retired. The engine was replaced 5 years ago.  The boat is solid and a great fishing machine.  I have a trailer that isn't titled that's only for taking the boat out at Mexico Point going to Mike's Marina for winterizing then to the campground for the winter..With the boat and trailer goes:

  3. A couple weeks ago I caught a king salmon with a tag in it.  It had a telephone number which I called but it said the mailbox was full and I should tried later which I did several times with the same result.  The phone message said it was from Metro East Anglers.  I goggled it and found a email address which I emailed and still haven't heard anything.  Anyone have some information about this?  Thanks

  4. I also have a 2011 Keystone Retreat camper for sale in the campground across from Mike's Marina east.  I post

the camper a few days ago.  If someone wanted to do a package deal for the boat and camper[asking $23,000] I would like to hear it.  Thanks.

  7. I was fishing between Catfish and Pleasant Pt, kept trolling north - south. Got into 70fow with a dipsy out 250 on #3 setting, making a port turn with that dipsy on the outside the musky hit, the rod was jumping but not like when a good salmon hits it.  The fish stayed down the whole fight until right behind the boat, I thought it would be a big laker, I didn't know what it was at first.  My wife got it in the net and I lifted it aboard.  It layed on the deck next to the fish box which is at least 38 inches long and he hung past each end by a good 6 inches. I quickly weighed him then put him back  in the water.  He was belly up for a while then I lost site of him, hope he made it.  I really didn't realize what a big deal it was to catch one until my good friend Yukon Joe said he'd been chartering for over 35 years and never caught one!  PS The lure was a magnum spoon, chrone with what looks like a christmas tree of bright green down the center.
