Sorry - when I first posted this, it was under the wrong forum - my bad. My question is for those who use or have knowledge of effective color combinations for bucktails, what would you recommend for pike fishing in mid-May - black/red, red/white, chartreuse/orange, purple, other? Not trying to cover every possible combo out there but of the ones I have listed, which ones would you recommend?

I was just at Henderson yesterday. We did pretty well - 2 kings, 1 brown and 8 lakers. Kings started lighting up around noon. The seas started getting rough so we came in.

I'm from Red Hill in the beautiful Upper Perkiomen valley (inside joke). This will be my first trip to Lake Ontario this year and my first trip ever to Oneida. A PA posse may be in order....

I'm new to the forum and look forward to participating. I will be heading to LO next weekend and hopefully the kings will be there. The first 2 days we'll be at Oneida and the last day we'll be fishin with Gone Fishin' at LO.
