  1. Hello, I have fished Skaneateles in the past using the DEC launch on the west side. I have always understood this is the only access. A friend wants me to drive down to the south end of the lake to launch when we go this spring. My rig is 19 feet long, and I wonder if he has some kind of car top launch in mind. Is there a town or private launch to use? Any help is greatly appreciated.
  2. Here are links to pictures of each side of the spoon I am asking about. Thanks!
  3. Hello everyone, I am trying to find the manufacturer and a retail source for a spoon stamped "J & L" and "2" on the back. The ones I have left are painted white on the "back" side and have two different colors of tape on the front. I'd post pictures, but I cant get the links to cooperate with me. Can anyone help me?? Thanks to all!
  4. Muireadach, I hope you have a great trip. What part of July? Very early in July you might catch the last of the shallow water smallmouth bite. After sunset and before dawn in July fishing small poppers on the surface for bass can be productive. The east branch has the best largemouth action. Throw it out, let it sit, twitch, and experiment from there. Smallies will be in deeper water at points an drop offs for the most part. Jigging for lakers at the tip of the bluff is fun too, there is another generally early morning thing.
