Breach

Sorry, I live downtown, but would drive anywhere up to 2 hours from Toronto

I dont own a boat, and I was wondering if there was any decent shore fishing on Lake Ontario. Ive heard that the Islands are decent in the summer, but quite crowded. I dont expect anyone to reveal any of their spots, but would anyone be able to point me towards a good resource for possibly finding areas that I could try? I appreciate any help, thank you

Ive never gone salmon fishing before, but I am probably going to get myself a salmon rod&reel and try my hand at it. Is it possible to shore fish for them, also, where abouts can I get my best chance at hooking into one in and around Toronto? Thanks for your time
