  1. Try drilling ahole in the center of the bottom of the larger size Campbell's soup cans. A small piece of duck tape will hold the line in place until you get a few raps on it and the can won't crush like the bottle I use to use. Add cordless screwgun and you can strip a couple thousand feet with one set-up. Mark

  2. Spike I had the same problem on my 19' lund. Tapped 4 holes in the trolling motor mount (easy to remove) mounted mast forward and higher. Helped a ton with the amount of slack and board stall. In my rod holders I dropped in 1 1/2 dowels. The front one is 2 1/2" tall and the second is 1" tall my thirdholder I just lean out 1click and I haven't had any problems with lines hanging up on each other. The Bert's and traxstech stuff is interchangeable. Good luck. Mark

  3. I saw you out there and then followed you most of the way home, boat looks great, what beautiful day to be on the water, hard to believe the calander still says march. We worked north of T-Falls most of the day with little to show for it. A handfull of hammer handle LL and two 6lbs class lakers but the weather for this time of the year made it worth it. A tip of the hat to the crew at T-Falls for the work they did cleaning up under the bridge. Other than the jackwagon that backed out all the way from the launch to open water(wish I had video) getting in and out was a breeze. LJ

  4. I can tell you and I think mower will agree, it will make you wonder how you ever got by without it. Its money well spent, good luck whatever you deceide to do. Wont be long know. By they way these AP wont steer around plywood so keep your eyes peeled, see u on the water.

  5. There have been a few threads this past week where you can see the different launch's status. None of them are to incouraging at the moment. Tremen is super low and guys have had to "push" through the mud to get back in and T-Falls is also super skinny. From an earlier post they will be closing T-Falls for a week starting 3-5, hopefully to hoe it out some. I'd think about hitting Seneca for the next couple of weeks. LJ

  6. Got the results from week 6 together finally for your guys. Team Seneca picked up 2 pounds on Team Cayuga this week. TS,,45# 1oz this week for a total of 236# 13oz. TC,,43# 1oz this week for a total of 256# 7oz. TC lead has been cut to 19# 10oz.

The lunker this week goes to Lil Jake,,11.3 on the scale at the LOU.

Don't forget to get signed up for next weeks Lighthouse Derby.

  7. Good call John, we should keep this towards the top and get the word out. I haven't seen any fish with those "markings" but most of the time it's out of the net and back in as quick as possible. I'll be taking the time to look them over from now on. Thanks for the link Ed. Mark
