  1. I am coming up from the States on Tuesday for 2 weeks & looking forward to fishing the Bowmanville, Ganaraska, or Cobourg tributaries for salmon. Have they started to move up yet?

    Thanks

  2. I am a Colorado fly fisherman who's headed to the Cobourg area (east of Oshawa) to fish the tributaries for what I believe are some big fish (15-20 pounders?). This will be quite a different experience from fishing the streams and lakes in the Rockies.

Can anyone be so kind as to suggest what type and size of flies I might want to use? I hear green is key.

Also, would an 8 pound fly rod used for fishing Bonefish in Mexico be sufficient or should I get something heftier?

Thanks very much for your help.
