  1. me and my family will be making our yearly trip too clayton ny. we fish for 4 days and have an awesome time. i have no problem finding the bass, but i was looking for some help with the pike and walleyes. anybody been hittin pike and eyes? any advice would be sweeter than youhoo. we fish out lanz cottages and am very familar with the area. ive caught some big pike in previous years but that was pretty much luck. walleyes ive never tried for and would like too. I will be up there from Sun the 21st to wed 24th. again any advice on lures and location would be great.
  2. r u kidding me? honeyoe is full a dang fine walleye
  3. honeoye is a fun lake. you can have a 50 bass day no prob. There are bigger bass in there, but good luck getting a lure past all the 1 pound bass! i always have good time there.
  4. thanks for the info junkie. hopefully i find some active fish. its a lot of fun when they slam them spinners. hopefully i can get a couple too hit some top water as well.
  5. i usually fish a spot in the 1000 islands for the opening of pike in may. this year i am thinking of trying conesus lake. my question is has anyone been to conesus right around the opening of the season, and if so are the pike active in the shallower warmer water like they are up in 1000 islands. in the islands they are very active and will smack spinnerbaits and basically anything.
