Brought both fish in alive for the weigh in looked to me all other fish were dead. I thought I might get a bonus prize since the derby was promoting catch and release but did not. Great derby though hope they come up next year so I can fish it hard both days, I was only able to fish from 7 am to 9 am on Sunday.

It was in Chaumont combined with the lyme pike derby.

I release 95% of the walleyes I catch this time of year.

Figured this one between 12 and 13 pounds maybe a touch larger but released immediately. Landed a few other eyes but all females so they were all released.

Yeah its been a great year so far. Sunday the fishing was hot for a little while. I ended up taking my family out to fish the Henderson derby, we were hitting them good ( eyes in the box in the first few hours, and then all a sudden my boat shut down. One of my bags ripped and ended up around my prop and shaft. So I ended up swimming for the rest of the day to remove the bag. Barley made it back for the weigh in like usual and ended up in 2nd place. So overall it was a great day, but let me tell you guys 63 degree surface temp is extremely cold my body almost shut down more then once.

I had this boat on a couple weeks ago with no pictures just un-wrapped her and here are some pictures.
21' Lund Fisherman with a 1990 150 hp Yamaha - runs great, 2007 9.9 Merc. pro-kicker with very low miles- all controls, power trim, electric start, etc. The boat goes with (2) cannon mag-10's, penn outriggers, a set of big planer boards, brand new life vests, Lowrance GPS, color fish finder. This boat is a fishing machine all set to launch and start trolling.
