when fishing sandy creek i tend to use the Carolina rig with with about a 3ft leader line with floating sacks. some will use mono line but I prefer braided 20 or 30 lb. as far as hook size goes, bigger is "NOT" always better. #4 egg hook is what I use mostly but have had success with #6. good luck.

plenty of action at the boat launch. the fish dont care if its raining. they are already wet.
