  1. ok thanks for the advise I am going to spool one of my rigger reels with wire and still run one rigger. The rest of the reels I have at my disposal are smaller walleye line counter reels that may hold around 200 yards of 20 lp mono don't want to test them on a big king.
  2. OK I'm going to rig up two more wire divers and try leaving the riggers at home this year
  3. I spend one or two weekends in early Aug fishing out of Olcott we run two wire divers two riggers and a 300 copper 99% of our fish have come off of the wire divers vs riggers. My riggers manual and are a pain in the ass to use. I am thinking about investing in two more wire divers vs. spending money on used electric riggers. How long can I expect the stanless wire to last? The wire I have is about eight years old and seems good as new.
  4. Thanks for the info, I am going to rig one reel with 1000' of wire and leave the 30 lb power pro on the other and hope the fleas are not too bad.
  5. I am planning my first trip to lake ontario for salmon. I am looking at stainless steel wire line for dipsy set ups. I was going to set up two reels with 500' of ss wire and braid for backing. Is this a good idea? Anyone run a simular set up. Just looking to save some $$$ Salmon tackle aint cheep!
