Ray, I appreciate your thoughts, but sometimes the wind comes in a manner that prevents you from controlling everything...a rubber rub rail would have prevented damage to the paint...maybe you don't care but I do, this was a big investment for me.... I think y'all might be right, Hello Olcott!

I'm not sure where to post this so please, move it to the right place if need be. I last fished Lake Ontario 2 years ago. I stayed at 4-Mile State Park and put in at the Wilson launch ramp. I then had a new Starcraft and to be honest, the wood bumper on the dock left lasting memories on my boat (even with fenders!). Has there been any improvement to the docks, you know like a rubber rub rail or something? I am planning a trip for later this month and was curious before returning there. Many Thanks!
