This morning we met with Dave Signs the manager of Safe Harbor Marina & Launch (Small Boat Harbor).The center launch between "A" Lot & "B" Lot is now Launch Only!The launch near the main building is now Retrival Only!Where the shack is where you pay to enter,will get moved over by the Fish Cleaning Station.The road way will be widened about 15 ft on each side leading up to the shack,with right side be the Get Ready To Launch Area and the other side will be the Tied own Area after retrival.

"A" Lot will be for slip holders only."B" Lot will be repainted to configure slanted truck/trailer parking with roadway being down the middle."B" Lot will be only available Monday Tru Thursday for truck/trailer parking,Friday thru Sunday is slip holder parking.There will be some car parking spots near the launch in the middle for Charter Boat Fishing Clients to park."D" Lot will be reconfigured with logs to make for more uniform parking and Shuttle Service will run Friday thru Sunday.We are still working on getting access to the Fish Cleaning Station in the dark hours.Once they figure out how to manage the key,nay be drivers license to get it and when you return the key you get your license back.It will take a couple days to get everything in order so please be patient,they are trying to work with us fishermen to make launch use a easy enjoyable experience.

I cancelled tomorrow at Chautauqua Lake due to so much heavy rain and flooding in the region.May go back down Friday now.

Some of my friends have still been catching a few mid 40's fish all week up north.I will be back to Chautauqua Lake Wednseday & Thursday.

Last night Chris & I started trolling the west river at 9:30 pm.Every muskie we marked was directly tight to the bottom,as was the bait fish pods.Moss was not unbearable,cleaning every 30 minutes.Finally we lifted the skunk and Chris reeled in a 38"er at 2:10 am.We quit at 2:45 am giving in to the fact not much happening.

Now those are some nice fatties! Congrats!

Was slow at the start today at Chautauqua Lake,but an hour before the rain started at 3 pm,38",40" & 42" muskies!Big fingers!

Back to Chautauqua Lake on July 6th & 7th for hopefully more muskie action!

We finished today with a 38" muskie,another good day up north with muskies!All 4 muskies came from 27 ft of water using 6 colors of leadcore and Wiley 5 1/2" jtd crankbaits trolled at 3.7 mph,crankbaits were down 18 ft! Bait fish pods were down 15 to 18 ft,around 10 ft off bottom just past the Bell Tower,surface water temp was 69 degrees!

30",39.5",42.5" & 48" muskies today from north basin,back out in the morning!

I will enjoy Chautauqua and get back on the Niagara River for Saturday night.

I'm not the only one with fish success,many other boats are doing well too,some big girl's have been caught the last few days.Sure right when I have to return to Chautauqua the fishing on the Niagara River is the best I've seen in years!

I tried the Niagara River today,I lasted 1 1/2 hours and was soaking wet! Zippo!

I gave it a try today,but after 1 1/2 hours I was soaking wet!Could not take the sideways rain comeing under the rain top and the moss was the worse I have seen so far.Zippo!
