The problem was in the gauge/wiring. Mechanic checked engine with infrared heat sensor.

My 5.7 mercruiser over heats at 650 rpms while trolling. Changed the impeller, thermostat ,exhaust boot and back flushed the cooling system and the problem still exists. Any solutions will be welcomed.

Beware of tying rope to the bucket handles as the handles have a tendency to dislodge. Remove the handles and replace with about 18 inches of 1/4 inch dia. rope.

#19 or #31. The difference is about 2 LBs. #19 releases about 3 LBS and #31 releases about 5 LBS. Set the gap at .005. Both bands are 1/16TH thick. They will release before they break.

I have all Magnums of his spoons except a few fingerlings. Good spoons and great patterns.

At the end of last season I had a monster break off a super skank mag. I watched as the pole released and it ran thru 3 other lines then pop. Never even got to pick up the pole. It snapped the leader just about the middle and I had checked all the leaders right before i left the dock. Worst part was that I only had that one.

I tryed them a few years ago and they were great but the last couple years have been pretty slow. maybe things will change this year.

It seems that S/S tubing would be difficult to bend by hand. You might want to try the different fitting that they make in a wide varity of angles. That is what I did to make my rocket launcher rod holder.
